New peice of Tshirt artwork for sale, details at emptees
Currently working on icons/symbols for a new set of posters for Live Language. Each poster will focus on one language (english, french, spanish…) and have a bunch of useful phrases like ‘what does that mean’ and ‘can you repeat that please?’
The idea is the icons will be able to be used to cross reference between posters, so you match the icons up and you can see the translation of that phrase.

What it was before
Recently I did some more work for Live Language. They have been really good to work for. I think the best part is I’m local, so I get to actually go in and speak to people (hello Adell) face to face and get a real vibe for the place, makes designing that much easier I reckon when you know exactly where it’s going.
Anyway, here I took there old classroom information poster/notice board dealies and worked up a new one for them. Out witht he unnecessary information and keeping the crucial. Using the school colour and logo and icons/symbols to universally represent each section as the school takes on students with a large variety of first languages.

Good Joe is a tee design contest that wants to inspire change. Everyweek they print a new design that is fun and has a wee message tucked inside of it, it can be anything you want it to be, as long as it inspires change.
They also donate a cut of their sales to charities and even give a bonus pay out of $200 more to winners who are students to help them pay for their studies, awesome.
I’ve got a design in the running just now, if you want you can vote for me and help inspire change AND pay my rent! eep!
